Our Property

This adorable little villa is perched on the edge of a tidal river full of nature! There are mangroves, kingfishers, basilisk lizards, howler monkeys, armadillos and more. This special place is close to everything in Samara. It is only a 3 minute walk from the beach or the center of town. Every rental includes IONA Coffee, hand roasted on site from the mountains above our little town. And it gets even better! Every rental helps us support community building projects in Samara. Pura vida here in spades! We had a wonderful stay at Ben / Erica’s place. Both were so friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home for our 3 nights stay. Our little girl loved it too and felt very comfortable with our hosts - a huge thanks to Ben for keeping her entertained! Would 10000% stay again.

We love this sweet place! Erika was an incredible host. From advising us on fun adventures, to bringing us extra umbrellas when the rain was coming. She was such a great model of kindness and hospitality for our daughter. The location is perfect. Very walkable to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store! Very grateful for our time there!

Such a beautiful little gem. Hosts were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Was lovely to meet Erica at check in. We had a big power cut during our stay but Erika checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Spotless cabin with everything you could need! Thank you so much:) Walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, with plenty of lovely restaurants.

Zelden zo'n warm welkom gehad! Heel attent richting de kinderen, super veel plezier gehad met de body boards die we mochten lenen en Ben&Erika dachten graag mee voor adviezen in activiteiten of restaurants. Enorm genoten!

Tolle Unterkunft und vor allem sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Bungalow ist genau wie beschrieben. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Küche mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Frisch gemahlener Kaffee wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. In fünf Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand oder im Zentrum von Sámara. 100%ige Empfehlung.

Le logement de Ben est impeccable! On se sens comme à la maison. C’est très propre et complet! Très bien situé dans la petite ville de Samara! Ben est un hôte merveilleux qui sait nous mettre à l’aise dès les premières minutes. Il a été d’une extrême gentillesse avec les deux enfants qui s’ennuient déjà de lui :)

Only stayed for one night, but would happily have stayed longer. Very close to many restaurants and the beach. If you are looking for a place that is walkable to everything, this is a great option.

The place was gorgeous, very clean, and close to the beach. Despite the compact size there is a full kitchen (with bodum and coffee roasted on site!!) Ben was super helpful and there were toys mats and boogie boards to enjoy the ocean with our kids. We would highly recommend this place to any family travelling to Samara.

Definitely unorthodox to have a log cabin at the beach but we took a chance and loved it! Very cozy and unique, with a nice outdoor shower! Literally steps away from nice coffee shops with a great location to get to downtown and the beach! A special surprise - we saw a group of eight (!) monkeys playing on the mango tree in the front yard. Hosts were very flexible!

Amazing place for our family. We loved the house and Erika and Ben were so great and responsive. Such a beautiful place with wonderful coffee. We were sad to say goodbye.
