Ben is an absolutely amazing host who went above and beyond to accommodate our family. Just to give a few examples: he gave our 5-year-old son sand toys, Legos, and books to play with; he offered us boogie boards; and when he noticed we had sunburns and mosquito bites, he provided sunscreen and bug repellent. Anytime we had a question, Ben was always helpful and responsive. We stayed in both guest houses, which are beautifully designed, super clean, and feel like home with thoughtful personal touches. Houses have fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, AC, hot shower. The beach 5-minute walk away. Ben roasts delicious coffee from local farmers, which you can get at the café right next to the house. Our son loved playing with the two friendly cats on the property. We also met Ben's parents who are great people and truly inspiring, they help on-site. We felt very welcomed and our stay would not be the same if we didn't stay at Ben's place.Thank you so much for having us! Pura Vida❤️

My 11 year old daughter, 7 year old son and I stayed at Iona Villa in Samara. The kids immediately walked in and felt right at home. They loved the bunkbeds and the two kittens on the property. I was equally enamored with the space. It is very clean with natural wood elements. I loved the outdoor shower. The air conditioning is great. So nice to have a kitchen where you can cook food. Beds were comfortable. Ericka was super responsive to questions and very friendly. Very close to the beach, restaurants, & market. We walked or rode rented bikes everywhere. It was great that beach towels and boogie birds were provided there for us to use. We had the best time and I really hope to return soon. Swimming in the warm water and watching the sunset is one of my favorite memories of my time in Samara.
